The types of foot pathologies

• Flat Foot syndrome, an anatomical variation characterized by an underdeveloped arch, which may in some cases require surgical intervention
• Foot Algodystrophy, a disproportionate inflammatory reaction that can sometimes follow a foot injury or a surgical procedure
• Lateral Bow, a bony deformity of the proximal phalanx of the hallux
• Humped Tarsus, a bony deformity characterized by an abnormal protrusion on the top of the foot
• Sever's Disease, which can cause heel pain in young people aged 8 to 15
• Osteoarthritis of the big toe, which manifests as pain caused by cartilage degradation in the joint surfaces
• Plantar Fasciitis, caused by micro-injuries to the sole and bottom of the heel
• Compartment Syndrome, excessive compression of muscles within their fascial compartments, particularly common among athletes
